The Charlottesville Community Design Center is committed to creating quality civic spaces for all people to gather and play. A robust community design process is central to meeting that goal and to producing the high-quality designs that every citizen deserves.
The CCDC parks project seeks to craft environments of respect, play, imagination, and relaxation. It is partnering with the city to create a new vision for Meade Park, and with Friends of McGuffey Park and the city to transform this urban pocket park into a true community asset for downtown.
