Design Marathon

Since 2008, CCDC and Alloy Workshop have partnered to host the annual Design Marathon, an event that brings teams of local design professionals and students together to provide 12 hours of pro bono design services to nonprofit clients in the Charlottesville area. Over the course of one day each team produces design work – from logos to facility designs – that enhances the ability of each nonprofit to carry out its mission in the community. A central goal of the Design Marathon is to build community among local designers through creative interdisciplinary collaboration.
